Course Overview

TechCadd's 6 Months Training in Amritsar is aimed at students, graduates and working professionals — whatever they have or have not done before. The early modules cover Foundations & Toolchain, Core Discipline Skills and Industry Standards & Structure, so nothing later assumes knowledge you were never given. From there you take on First Live Brief and Second Live Brief. The second half is where it turns practical: you work in VS Code, Git, MongoDB, Python 3, pandas and Jupyter the way a team actually does, against briefs that carry a real deadline. Each module ends in something you have built and a trainer has reviewed, so you finish with a portfolio, a CV built around it and interview practice for Junior Developer, Analyst and Executive roles.

The terms

What 6 Months Training actually involves

What 6 Months Training actually involves

Six months is what it actually takes to be hireable without an asterisk. The first half builds the discipline; the second puts you on real delivery work with an internship letter to show for it. It is the semester-long slot most Punjab engineering colleges require, used as industry exposure rather than as classroom theory stretched over a longer calendar.

The programme is built for B.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Sc(IT) and other technical students who need genuine industry exposure rather than more classroom theory. The tracks are the ones being hired for — Full Stack Development, Python, Data Science, AI, Digital Marketing and Cyber Security — taught through live projects, real case studies and mentorship from trainers who still work in the field.

Batches stay small, the curriculum is ISO-certified, and placement support runs alongside the training rather than after it. The point is that you finish holding a portfolio, the confidence to talk through it, and interview-ready skills — the certificate is the least interesting thing in that list.

The honest pitch

Why this programme is worth your year

Why this programme is worth your year

Most 6 months training training in this region stops at the tutorial: you follow along, the notebook runs, nothing is retained. This programme is built the other way round — every module hands you an unfinished problem and a deadline, and a mentor reviews what you did with it.

That is slower and harder than watching lectures. It is also the only version that survives an interview, because the questions there are about the decisions you made, not the code you copied.

6 Months Training schedule

No block is padding and none of it is a lecture series. Each span below ends in something a trainer has signed off on.

  1. Months 1 – 2Step 01 of 05

    Discipline foundations

Toolchain, conventions and the fundamentals in depth, plus the habits — self-review, documentation, version discipline — that decide whether you are employable.

  2. Month 3Step 02 of 05

    First live brief

Guided scoping on a real requirement, built in daily increments with a debrief and rework cycle at the end of it.

  3. Month 4Step 03 of 05

    Second brief & team work

You scope and schedule this one, then take a change request on someone else's code — the task every junior actually gets in their first month.

  4. Month 5Step 04 of 05

    Internship block

Placed on live delivery work with real deadlines and real stakeholders. The internship letter is drafted from what you did here, not from your attendance.

  5. Month 6Step 05 of 05

    Capstone & placement cycle

A capstone on your own specification, then portfolio review, mock interview rounds and drives with hiring partners that continue after the batch ends.

Eligibility

Four kinds of people join this batch. You are probably one of them.

Who this course is for

There is no entrance test and no prerequisite degree. What the programme does assume is that you will show up for the full 6 months and do the project work.

01The semester slot

B.Tech & B.E. students

For CSE, IT, ECE and allied branches, this is the most valuable time to do it. Most engineering colleges across Punjab require or strongly recommend a semester-long industrial training, and this satisfies that while giving you resume-worthy project experience in full stack, Python, AI or data science.

02Closes the fresher gap

BCA & MCA students

Computer applications students consistently hit the gap between what is taught and what companies expect from a fresher. Six months of structured, practical exposure to coding, databases, live projects and modern tooling is precisely what gets screened for in a technical interview.

03Adds the practical half

M.Sc(IT), B.Sc(IT), BBA & MBA students

If your degree is theory-heavy, this adds the industry-facing skill set that makes a resume competitive — digital marketing, data analytics or business intelligence, learned as work rather than as coursework.

04Explore before committing

12th pass students

Not in college yet? Plenty of students join to explore IT, design or digital marketing early and build a foundation before committing to a degree stream. Six months is long enough to know whether the field actually suits you.

05Solves the experience gap

Fresh graduates & job seekers

If interviews are not happening because your resume has no practical experience, this addresses that directly. A completed six-month training backed by real project work and a documented internship letter is one of the strongest additions you can make to a fresher CV.

06Upskill without resigning

Working professionals

Professionals pivoting into IT, digital marketing or data-driven roles make up a steady share of every intake. Flexible batch timings mean you can do it without pausing your current job, and the project work is scheduled around the batch you pick.

Future scope

Where 6 months training is headed from here

Where 6 months training is headed from here

A certificate answers what you can do today. This is the honest answer to what 6 months training looks like three to five years out, and why the fundamentals this course spends real time on are what carry you there.

  • Demand is structural, not seasonalEmployers keep filtering for candidates who have already done real, supervised delivery work, not just coursework — a documented internship is what turns a resume into a shortlist.
  • The skill ladder keeps climbingJunior Developer is the entry rung, not the ceiling. Once that portfolio is in place, analyst is the realistic next step — a promotion earned on the job, not a second course you have to go back and pay for.
  • Tooling changes; fundamentals compoundVS Code and the rest of the stack will look different in five years — they always do. What does not expire is the fundamentals this course is built around, which is why the syllabus is reviewed each intake instead of frozen once and reused.
  • Remote and hybrid widen the marketA 6 months training portfolio built in Amritsar competes for the same remote and hybrid roles as anywhere else. Companies hiring for this work are increasingly indifferent to which city the offer letter is posted to.
What you walk away with

The 6 months programme is built around the part that is genuinely in your hands — and you leave holding all of it.

A reviewed portfolio, an industry-recognised certificate and a fundamentals-first foundation you can keep building on. Markets move, as they always have; that foundation is exactly what lets you move with them as internship and training work around you keeps shifting.

The working loop

Learn it. Build it. Make it yours.

Learn it. Build it. Make it yours.

Every project moves through the same loop: understand the brief, build it with guidance, then explain the decisions behind your work. The certificate is the receipt — the portfolio is the point.

  1. 01

    Understand

Break a real requirement into a plan, the constraints it has to live inside, and the right tool for each part of it.

    Guided Live Brief

  2. 02

    Build

Work hands-on with trainer feedback arriving while the decisions are still cheap to change.

    Self-Run Live Brief

  3. 03

    Present

Turn the finished work into a portfolio story you can defend line by line in an interview.

Why techcadd

Why students choose techcadd

Hundreds of institutes across Punjab claim to offer industrial training, and the brochures are hard to tell apart. Here is what actually makes six months here different from six months elsewhere.

  • Real projects, not recorded lectures

Too many industrial training programmes are repackaged online courses. This centres on live, real-world work — an application, a dashboard, a campaign — so you leave with a portfolio you can walk someone through, not a certificate you cannot explain.

  • Built around what companies hire for

The curriculum is updated to match current demand: full stack MERN and MEAN, Python, data science, AI, cyber security and digital marketing — the same skills firms in Amritsar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh are actively recruiting for.

  • Solves the no-experience catch

Companies want experience and you cannot get experience without a job. Six months of real project work, practical problem-solving and a documented internship block breaks that cycle, and gives you actual examples to answer interview questions with.

  • Small batches, real mentorship

Batch sizes are kept deliberately manageable, so a trainer can track your progress, review your code or your campaign individually and correct a mistake while it is still small. On a hands-on programme that feedback is what decides how job-ready you get.

  • College requirements, handled

If your B.Tech, BCA or MCA programme mandates a six-month certificate, the process is straightforward: structured curriculum, proper documentation, project reports, and a certificate your college and your employer accept without a query.

  • ISO 9001 certified and recognised

TechCadd is an ISO 9001 certified training company approved under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. For a student or a parent weighing up credibility, that is recognised value both for college submission and for employer verification.

  • Tested across Punjab, not one city

Established centres in Amritsar, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Mohali have trained thousands of students from B.Tech, BCA, MCA and M.Sc(IT) backgrounds — so the curriculum has been refined against diverse intakes rather than written for a single batch.

  • Trainers who have shipped work

Learning from someone who has only taught, versus someone who has actually built and shipped real projects, is a measurable difference. Your doubts get resolved with practical context rather than a textbook explanation.

  • Career support past the certificate

Resume building, mock interviews and connections into hiring networks are part of the programme. The goal is training that converts into an offer, not a completed programme that sits in a folder.

I did my 6 months industrial training during my 6th semester and honestly it was way better than I expected. We worked on a real MERN stack project, not just PPTs. My trainer explained every doubt patiently, and my college accepted the certificate without any issue.
Simranjeet KaurB.Tech CSE, Guru Nanak Dev University
I was confused between a Ludhiana institute and the Amritsar centre for my industrial training. Went with TechCadd and do not regret it — small batch, proper mentorship, and I actually built a working project by the end.
Harpreet SinghBCA, Khalsa College
Good structured programme. The Python and Data Science modules were solid, especially the live dataset project. Would have liked slightly more sessions on interview prep, but overall a strong six months.
Ravneet KaurMCA, Punjab Technical University
I travel from Ludhiana for weekend batches. Worth the commute honestly. The trainers have real industry experience and it shows in how they explain concepts — not just textbook stuff.
Gurpreet SinghB.Tech IT Student
My six months here gave me my first real project for my resume. I got shortlisted for two interviews right after finishing, because I could actually talk about what I had built.
Manpreet KaurB.Sc(IT) Student
The Digital Marketing track was practical — we ran an actual campaign, not theory slides. The SEO and GA4 sessions were genuinely useful. I recommend it to anyone confused about which track to pick.
Jaspreet SinghBCA, DAV College
I compared a few institutes in Chandigarh and Amritsar before joining. The ISO certification and PMKVY partnership gave me confidence it was not some random institute, and the training quality matched that.
Amandeep KaurB.Tech CSE Student
Best decision for my 6th semester industrial training. Full Stack track, live project, proper documentation for my college submission — everything sorted without stress.
Karanveer SinghMCA Student
Came from Ludhiana specifically for this programme after friends recommended it. The AI track was challenging but the trainers broke it down well. The batch was small enough that I never felt lost.
Navjot KaurB.Tech ECE Student
Already graduated but had zero practical experience. This six-month programme fixed that completely. Built a real portfolio, got interview-ready, and landed a job within two months of finishing.
