How techcadd Computer Education collects, uses, stores and shares personal information at its Amritsar centre, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated 30 September 2026 · techcadd Amritsar

Introduction

techcadd Computer Education ("techcadd", "we", "us") runs the training centre at 3rd Floor, District Shopping Complex, SCO 28, B - Block, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, Punjab 143001 and this website. This policy explains what we do with personal information, and applies whether you enquire through the website, call us, or walk in.

By enquiring, enrolling or using this website you accept the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not submit your details to us.

Information we collect

We collect three kinds of information:

  • Information you give us — your name, phone number, email address, educational background and the course you are interested in, whether typed into an enquiry form or given to a counsellor.
  • Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time spent, gathered through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for the detail.
  • Information from others — where a college, hiring partner or someone who referred you passes your details on, and where you contact us through a social platform.

We do not ask for financial account details through this website. Fees are handled at the centre or through a payment provider who collects those details directly.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and arrange counselling or a demo session.
  • Process enrolment, collect fees, and administer the course you join.
  • Run the course itself — attendance, assessment, project review and certification.
  • Provide placement assistance, including sharing your profile with hiring partners where you have agreed to it.
  • Send you information about courses, batches and events, where you have asked to hear from us.
  • Understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
  • Meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We process personal information on one of four grounds: your consent; the necessity of performing a contract with you, such as delivering a course you have paid for; our legitimate interest in running and improving the institute; and compliance with a legal obligation.

Where we rely on consent — marketing messages, and sharing your profile with hiring partners — you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done before you did.

Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only with:

  • Our own trainers and administrative staff, so far as they need it to do their jobs.
  • Hiring partners, during placement assistance, and only with your consent.
  • Service providers who host the website, send our email or provide analytics, under terms that restrict them to our instructions.
  • Authorities, where we are required by law to disclose it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your contact details with advertisers.

Data retention

Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are kept for two years, so we can pick up a conversation you return to. Student records — enrolment, attendance, assessment and certification — are kept for seven years after a course ends, because certificates are verified long after the fact and our accounting obligations run for a similar period.

When a retention period ends the information is deleted or anonymised.

Data security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted administrative accounts to protect personal information, and we limit who inside the institute can see what.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is never intercepted. If a breach affects your information and is likely to cause you harm, we will tell you and the relevant authority.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
  • Restrict or object to a particular use of it.
  • Provide it in a portable form.
  • Stop sending you marketing messages, or withdraw any other consent.

Write to info@techcadd.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

Children's privacy

Our courses are intended for people aged 16 and above, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger without a parent or guardian's involvement. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will remove them.

This website links to other sites — social platforms, hiring partners, certification bodies. We do not control them and are not responsible for how they handle your information. Read their policies before giving them your details.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change, and post the revised version here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the website or our services after a change means you accept it.
